Week 3 College Football Viewers Guide

· 2 min read

The world’s foremost authority on college football viewership, helping tens of people to clickover from Bama blowouts to more quality games since 2018!

Today’s menu: Jim ’N Nick’s at the Atlanta United match

(All times CT because that’s where the SEC West is located.)

11 am: Chattanooga at Tennessee (SECN) Will the Vols continue to sink into the Tennessee River? Otherwise: Maryland at Temple (CBSSN) and NC State at West Virginia (FS1) appear to offer the best shot at competitive early games.

Noon: Air Force at Colorado (Pac-12) Being at an odd time on the Pac-12 network, this is like one of those Thursday NCAA Tournament games from days of yore. They were played in between the first and second batches of games for the day and only a small portion of the country got the broadcast.

2:30 pm: Alabama at South Carolina (CBS) For fifteen minutes until the blowout begins, then: Stanford at UCF (ESPN) or USC at BYU (ABC)

3 pm: Arizona State at Michigan State (Fox), Colorado State at Arkansas (SECCN) and Iowa at Iowa State (FS1) offer another chance at finding at least one compelling game for the afternoon if the 2:30 games are clunkers)

6 pm: Florida at Kentucky (ESPN) The Wildcats haven’t beaten the Gators in consecutive years since the mid 70s. It’d be a lot cooler if they did (sorry we have some hangover effect from the heaping helping of LSU vs. Wooderson last week).

6:30 pm: Northwestern State at LSU (SECCN) to see if Coach O remembers that he recruited other running backs last year.

Pac12 After Dark: Texas Tech at Arizona (ESPN)
