Week 3 College Football Viewers Guide

· 2 min read

The world’s foremost authority on college football viewership, helping tens of people to clickover from Bama blowouts to more quality games since 2018!

Games for Saturday, October 10, 2020. All times CT because that’s where the SEC West is located.

11 am: For those not tuning into LSU at Missouri (SECN Alt) — which is a non-conference game, right? — there’s the continued downfall of Jimbo’s Aggies vs. Florida (ESPN), Texas-Oklahoma (Fox) in the also-rans shootout, and Virginia Tech at North Carolina (ABC) which might be the most competitive game in the bunch.

2:30 pm: Texas Tech at Iowa State (ABC) seems fun along with Kansas State at TCU (3 pm, Fox). Tennessee visits Georgia (CBS) for the Jarrett Guarantano vs. Stetson Bennett IV showdown the world didn’t know it needed. Arkansas at Auburn (3 pm, ESPN) is being hyped as the “return of Chad Morris” — if we’re going to revisit coaches who drove stuff into ditches though, give me Bobby Petrino and his motorcycle instead.

5 pm: Temple at Navy (CBSSN) offers your weekly dose of service academy football if you miss out on The Citadel at Army (12:30 pm, CBSSN).

6:30 pm: Alabama at Ole Miss (ESPN). Lane Kiffin called Nick Saban “elderly” this week, so get ready for the football equivalent of an over-eager former Empire starship captain getting Force choked for four hours. Miami at Clemson (ABC) and Mississippi State at Kentucky (SECN) offer better options for competitive games.

Sark After Dark takes another week off, but in the week ahead we do get a Wednesday matchup of Coastal Carolina at Louisiana Lafayette. The Chanticleers being America’s Weeknight Team and all.
