Week 4 College Football Viewers Guide - Again with the NFL Venues…

11 am: LSU at Mississippi State (ESPN) Not the best spot to bring a team that struggles to defend crossing routes or to block people on offense — with a backdrop of morning cowbells. If Leach makes it two in a row, it looks like a long season ahead for the Tigers and possibly a short one for Coach O. Leaving Notre Dame-Wisconsin off the clickovers list here out of protest for it being played in a boring NFL venue. Instead check in on Texas Tech at Texas (ABC), SMU at TCU (FS1) or Missouri at Boston College (ESPN2).

2:30 pm: We’ll have to overlook another boring NFL setting for the surprisingly important matchup of Arkansas vs. Texas A&M (CBS). Clickovers to Rutgers at Michigan (ABC) and Iowa State at Baylor (Fox).

6:30 pm: West Virginia at Oklahoma (ABC) because we expect Tennessee at Florida (6 pm, ESPN) to get ugly. North Carolina at Georgia Tech (ACCN) makes the list because Mercedes-Benz Stadium qualifies more as a soccer stadium than an NFL venue currently.

Sark After Dark: Colorado at Arizona State (ESPNU), Arizona at Oregon (ESPN) and Oregon State at USC (FS1) offer a trio of Pac12 options at 9:30 pm.
