The world’s foremost authority on college football viewership, helping tens of people to clickover from Bama blowouts to more quality games since 2018!

(all times CT because that’s where the SEC West is located)

11 am: Wake Forest at Army (CBSSN) the Fighting Clawsons take their undefeated record up to West Point to face the option. Clickovers to whatever might be unexpectedly competitive between Cincinnati at Navy (espn2), Northwestern at Michigan (Fox) and Syracuse at Virginia Tech (ACC RSN).

2:30 pm: LSU at Ole Miss (CBS) Interim Ed has been fired from both places, while the Lane Train will be campaigning to become the coach of both places. Also: Oklahoma State at Iowa State (Fox) and Clemson at Pittsburgh (ESPN).

6:30 pm: Slim pickings in prime time and we also get no Sark After Dark games this week. A couple of ACC matchups might be the most competitive: Georgia Tech at Virginia (ACCN) and NC State at Miami (espn2). Or take your pick from a pair of rivalries that ain’t what they used to be: Tennessee at Alabama (6 pm, ESPN) and USC at Notre Dame (NBC).

11 am: Florida at LSU (ESPN) for what is probably Coach O’s last stand. Once it gets ugly, clickovers to Auburn at Arkansas (CBS), Michigan State at Indiana (FS1), Rutgers at Northwestern (BTN) and UCF at Cincinnati (ABC).

2:30 pm: Kentucky at Georgia (CBS) which is either the spot for the obvious Georgia’ing or perhaps the spot where we realize that the Dawgs have taken that next step in a Murder Robot transformation. Clickover to Purdue at Iowa (ABC) for letdown/upset alert and BYU at Baylor (ESPN) for the Jeff Grimes bowl.

6:30 pm: Ole Miss at Tennessee (SECN) to see if the Vols might truly have something budding on offense. Clickovers to TCU at Oklahoma (ABC) to see Lincoln Riley struggle to manage a QB controversy and Iowa State at Kansas State (ESPN2). Army at Wisconsin (7 pm, BTN) also seems an interesting matchup.

Sark After Dark: The conclusion of Air Force at Boise State (8 pm, FS1) leads us into Arizona State at Utah (9 pm, ESPN) and Hawaii at Nevada (9:30 pm, CBSSN).

11 am: Arkansas at Ole Miss (ESPN) to see which team recovers better from last week’s whuppins. Clickovers to Oklahoma vs. Texas (ABC), West Virginia at Baylor (FS1) and Michigan State at Rutgers (BTN).

3 pm: Penn State at Iowa (Fox) where the over/under is probably set at 9. Clickovers to Boise State at BYU (2:30 pm, ABC) and Georgia at Auburn (2:30 pm, CBS). And amazingly either UConn or UMass will get a win this week because they get to play each other (2:30 pm, streaming somewhere?).

6:30 pm: LSU at Kentucky (SECN) in a matchup where weird things often happen. Other options include Michigan at Nebraska (ABC) where you won’t find a larger collection of fans wishing it was 30 years ago, and Alabama at Texas A&M (7 pm, CBS) where it will be 28-0 before the fourth NCIS commercial.

Sark After Dark: UCLA at Arizona (ESPN) and New Mexico State at Nevada (CBSSN).

11 am: Arkansas at Georgia (ESPN) where the Hogs’ defense and Georgia’s game plan might conspire to change the usual pleas in Athens to ”Throw the Damn Ball, Kirby!” Expect this one to stay close and entertaining, but if not: clickovers to Michigan at Wisconsin (Fox) and Texas at TCU (ABC).

2:30 pm: Ole Miss at Alabama (CBS) where the Lane Train will continue to threaten Saban’s health and sanity. Clickovers to Oklahoma at Kansas State (Fox), Oregon at Stanford (ABC) and Ohio State at Rutgers (BTN). If you like train wrecks then check out Syracuse at Florida State (ACCN).

6 pm: Baylor at Oklahoma State (ESPN2) to see if Dave Aranda, Head Coach, is truly a thing. Clickover to UConn at Vanderbilt (ESPNU) to see if anyone scores a football version of an own goal.

8 pm: Auburn at LSU (ESPN) where Coach O has his last chance at football happiness for the next two months based upon the looming schedule.

Sark After Dark: Arizona State at UCLA (FS1) and Fresno State at Hawaii (CBSSN).

11 am: LSU at Mississippi State (ESPN) Not the best spot to bring a team that struggles to defend crossing routes or to block people on offense — with a backdrop of morning cowbells. If Leach makes it two in a row, it looks like a long season ahead for the Tigers and possibly a short one for Coach O. Leaving Notre Dame-Wisconsin off the clickovers list here out of protest for it being played in a boring NFL venue. Instead check in on Texas Tech at Texas (ABC), SMU at TCU (FS1) or Missouri at Boston College (ESPN2).

2:30 pm: We’ll have to overlook another boring NFL setting for the surprisingly important matchup of Arkansas vs. Texas A&M (CBS). Clickovers to Rutgers at Michigan (ABC) and Iowa State at Baylor (Fox).

6:30 pm: West Virginia at Oklahoma (ABC) because we expect Tennessee at Florida (6 pm, ESPN) to get ugly. North Carolina at Georgia Tech (ACCN) makes the list because Mercedes-Benz Stadium qualifies more as a soccer stadium than an NFL venue currently.

Sark After Dark: Colorado at Arizona State (ESPNU), Arizona at Oregon (ESPN) and Oregon State at USC (FS1) offer a trio of Pac12 options at 9:30 pm.

11 am: Nebraska at Oklahoma (Fox) stats us off on a day full of big names who should play each other more often than they do. Enjoy the nostalgia in this one until it gets out of hand, then hope Indiana can be competitive in hosting Cincinnati (ESPN). Virginia Tech at West Virginia (FS1) provides the clickover option if Northern Illinios isn’t springing a surprise at Michigan (BTN).

2:30 pm: Alabama at Florida (CBS) where we’ll have to root for some Mullen QB rushing magic to keep the Gators in the game because the clickover options are slim. Unless you like murder scenes and then Georgia Tech at Clemson (ABC) is for you.

6:30 pm: Auburn at Penn State (ABC) where we applaud the teams for playing this on campus instead of some lifeless NFL stadium. Check in on South Carolina at Georgia (ESPN) to see if the Gamecocks found any leftover Bulldog kryptonite and Central Michigan at LSU (SECN) where McElwain will try to take a second whack at Orgeron’s coaching kneecaps.

Sark After Dark: The second half of Oklahoma State at Boise State (8 pm, FS1) leads us into another good week of late options with Arizona State at BYU (9:15 pm, ESPN) and San Jose State at Hawaii (11:30 pm!!, FS1).

11 am: Most eyes will be on Oregon at Ohio State (Fox). But true connossieurs will also consider Pitt at Tennessee (ESPN) for the chance it might get weird, Kennessaw State at Georgia Tech (ACC Regional) where the ”give Collins time” era is over and Western Kentucky at Army (10:30 am, CBSSN) because, option.

2:30 pm: Colorado vs. Texas A&M (Fox) in Denver could be interesting, while the Scott Frost watch continues in Buffalo at Nebraska (BTN), as lead-ins to …

3:30 pm: Iowa at Iowa State (ABC) where LSU fans will begin the Matt Campbell stock watch.

7 pm: Washington at Michigan (ABC) and Texas at Arkansas (ESPN) lead a light prime time slate before we get to…

Sark After Dark: A tremendous week for After Darking with Utah at BYU (ESPN), Stanford at USC (Fox), Vanderbilt at Colorado State (CBSSN), UNLV at Arizona State (ESPN2) and Hawaii at Oregon State (FS1).

11 am: Penn State at Wisconsin (Fox) - The early games feature a few Big Ten things to keep an eye on. Beyond the matchup in Madison, will Western Michigan give Michigan (ESPN) us the annual early season warning that the Wolverines continue to sink? Surely Nebraska can handle Fordham (BTN), right? And the BTN also gets to highlight how mighty the conference is with Temple at Rutgers.

2:30 pm: Indiana at Iowa (BTN) has the potential to be sneaky good in place of watching Bama destroy Miami (ABC). Clickovers: West Virginia at Maryland (ESPN), Louisiana Tech at MooU (3 pm, ESPNU) and Louisiana Lafayette at Texas (Fox).

6:30 pm: ABC should’ve flipped the time slots and put Clemson-Georgia in the afternoon, so we could have clicked off the Bama blowout in time for LSU at UCLA (7:30 pm, Fox). Kirby vs. Dabo is an interesting showdown. In the Rose Bowl, the Bruins and everyone picking them don’t understand what is coming tonight.

Sark After Dark: Arizona vs. BYU (ESPN) would be better on either campus instead of that weird stadium in Las Vegas. Other options include Nevada at Cal (FS1), New Mexico State at San Diego State (CBSSN) and Utah State at Wazzu (Pac12).

Sunday: Notre Dame at Florida State (6:30 pm, ABC) - It’s not 1993 and Charlie Ward ain’t walking through that door.

Monday: Louisville at Ole Miss (7 pm, ESPN) lost its luster a bit with the Lane Train out due to a positive COVID test.

Another glorious college football season is upon us! We bring you the Week 0 edition of the world’s foremost authority on college football viewership, helping tens of people to clickover from Bama blowouts to more quality games since 2018!

(all times CT because that’s where the SEC West is located)

12 pm: Nebraska at Illinois (Fox) - The return of the Bert! Will he be celebrating shirtless in Champaign tonight? Meanwhile, will this be the start of the end for Scott Frost? Clickover to, uh, UConn at Fresno State (CBSSN) because … football.

2:30 pm: Hawaii at UCLA (ESPN) - Chip Kelly’s Bruins get a warmup game before hosting LSU next week. No clickovers so you will watch this one and you will like it.

6:00 pm: Alcorn vs. NC Central (ESPN) - Because … football.

Sark After Dark: Southern Utah at San Jose State (CBSSN) because UTEP at New Mexico State (8:30 pm) is buried on the terrible thing that is the Bally Sports regional networks.
